When we had the opportunity to swap the District Line for a sleek white Alfa Romeo MiTo Veloce we simply couldn’t resist.
Our day whizzing round the city was packed and plentiful but the ease of having our smooth ride made life a million times easier! First stop was Un1t in Fulham to each participate and teach a class at our favourite London HIIT spot. Next up we headed to The Foundry for a little rehab and mobility work with TTH hero Richard Cross, who practically drooled as we drove in. After a leg heavy Un1t, time in the car over time climbing the tube stairs was much appreciated. Finally a quick pit stop to refill the car and also our stomachs at the local Tesco express, which landed us surprisingly less empty pocketed than we thought. Turns out these Mito’s really do run on magic!
The car was an absolute joy to drive, light steering, smooth acceleration plus quick and nippy to conquer the London corners. Not to mention the sleek exterior that made us feel quite the part, only adding to our wish to achieve ultimate sass.
E has a pretty good navigation sense whilst on two feet, however driving around London is another ball game with traffic and one way systems. H’s can be interesting at the best of times! Lucky the MiTo Veloce features a built-in Navigation system with real time traffic data, information about your car and an insight into your driving habits. Bluetooth and voice commands making the mid drive DJing effortless were just added extras.
Perfectly compact making that last tiny space available on crowded Fulham roads a little more accessible makes the Mito the ultimate city car. Despite being a ‘compact’, it’s still spacious inside. The Alcantara® Sabelt sports seats with carbon shell and integrated headrest not only appeal to the eye but are also wonderfully comfortable and their slightness aids to offering more space and extra ease.
