Where’d we go?
Starting at the base of the Orbit we set off on a windy lap around the Olympic stadium and surrounding grounds. Two laps for the 5km and 4 laps for the 10km.
Seeing the orbit lit up at night.
With the laps, it can get a little repetitive.
Why this Race…
If you are a Londoner then it is very accessible. It is also a fab way to see the Olympic park if you have not already been.

Mid run Brainwave…
Be aware that your eyes need to adjust from running under big floodlights by the stadium to slightly darker areas in the park. Don’t do a Laura and almost fall flat on your face!
No food during, but racing to the finish line to get our hands on one of the infamous RunThrough flapjacks!
